My Questions:
1.What causes it?
2.What will happen if this problem continues?
3.How can we help?

My Summary:

Did you know that the Industrial Revolution in Europe in the 19th century saw the beginning of air pollution as we know it today, which has gradually become a global problem? This problem has been widely spread and people have been aware of this. Like when you step out of the house and are on the road you can actually see the air getting polluted; a cloud of smoke from the exhaust of a bus, car, speeding cars causing dust to rise from the roads, and even someone smoking a cigarette can also cause air pollution. Air pollution is a problem because of four developments: increasing traffic, growing cities, rapid economic development, and industrialization. This can cause health problems and it can also damage the environment and property. It has caused thinning of the protective ozone layer of the atmosphere, which is leading to climate change.

This has to stop. To make a difference, people need to recycle: glass, papers, plastics, aluminums and many more. You can also help to reduce electricity and water at your home. Join groups so you could help plant trees and look after the trees in your neighborhood. As long as you help, even just a little, you will make a different no matter what! But what if no one helps, what if no one cares about the environment, do you know what will happen to you? Air pollution can cause serious damages. Those air pollutants that are inhaled have serious impact on human health affecting the lungs and the respiratory system; they are also taken up by the blood and pumped all round the body. These pollutants are also deposited on soil, plants, and in the water, further contributing to human contact. Little things matter, so help the environment!

Action Plan
Goal- Based on your research from Part 1, how do you want to have a positive impact on our environment?
This is a major deadly problem; we need to help each other to clean the Earth: by stopping or decrease smoking, recycling, and so on. If this problem doesn’t stop or ease, air pollution will be worse and could affect everyone in the world.

Strategies-What are some specific actions you will take to achieve this goal?
By doing little things everyday can help air pollution and the environment.
-Plant trees
-recycle
-tell your friends, family, anyone you know to do the same
-make a group, or join and try to tell people to help the world, even to the government
-use public transportation or even walk, or ride a bike!
Timeline-When will you do these things and how often?
Plant trees--- whenever you can
Recycle---- everyday!
Notify people you know--- everyday
Joining a group---- join now!
Walk---- everyday, its great exercise too!
Resources-What will you need (if anything) to put these strategies into effect?
-courage
-positive attitude
-effort
-teamwork of people all around the world (start with family and friends)
Results-How will you know when you've made a difference?
-When the media talks about it
-When many people help, family and friends
-When you know that something is different!

GREAT JOB!!!!!!!
It is really persuasive since you wrote all the bad effect that air pollution can bring. But, for the action plan, it will be better if you wrote it more specificly. Because people know what they should do, the problem is they are just too lazy to do that. And for the timeline, it is too generous...u know everyday...without even doing it i feel great pressure
.

Analysis

1) I used this form of technology because, I love to show people the meaning by visual images. I also love to act, film. It is one of my favorite hobbies! Anyway, usually when people present their presentations I recognize people that are sleeping or very bored and that happens a lot through talking presentation. I don’t want that to happened on my presentation, I want people to be interested and enjoy being the audience. That is why I used a video as a way to show people the meaning of pollution.

2) It fits my need because videos are a great way to demonstrate to people that the world has a problem. It is not easy to make a voice thread because when the audience stop listening and don’t look interested, people usually don’t know what the presentation meant, just because they stopped listening for a second. But when it’s a video, people can stop listening and still watch the screen, which you can imagine what the problem is.

3) I think my project is effective, because I use a unique way to explain pollution in china by making a video. I also thought the video had some comedy to it so that people wouldn’t get bored, by doing this it makes the audience laugh and want to hear more, which makes the people realize that they need to do something to the world before it is too late.
